The two exceptions to all of this is that a person can forgive him – herself for a personal error in judgment which may or may not have hurt someone else. There is good and beneficial emotional and mental reason for forgiving yourself. It may allow a person to move on with life, and it may be that there is a ” ‘mind-body effect’ where-by forgiving yourself may heal the physical body”. Secondly, there is strong indication in the Bible that there is only one sin that nobody can or will forgive. That sin is the one that a person could commit “against The Holy Spirit”. That sin is of a nature that even God will not forgive – “… not now or forever”.

At times I am asked about this “unforgivable sin” by concerned persons. Not to worry, if you have doubts about having committed this particular sin, or if you are fearful about it, don’t worry – you are O.K. The Holy Spirit will instill undeniable conviction on someone guilty of that sin. That person will know … for sure!

What actually is “The Sin Against The Holy Spirit“?

The Bible rather dryly and as a matter-of-fact states: “… All men are subject to time and unforeseen circumstances”. Both these inescapable elements apply in my life today – too little time, and a circumstance beyond my control. This is why jumping through hoops, THIS topic and others, are not posted yet…

What can be said for an absolute certainty is, that: “NO person yesterday, today, or tomorrow, has authority to NOT FORGIVE anyone or anything. It is said that “To forgive is divine”. Actually, to “forgive”, is God’s Executive Decree. No exceptions.

The below following is a compacted summary:

Keeping in mind that God is the ultimate authority, and not us, there has to exist certain extraordinary conditions BEFORE a human commits “Sin Against The Holy Spirit” or “Unforgivable Sin”. But that is not all. Additionally with those conditions, we believe, there has to occur a circumstance of unquestionable understanding, within a “short time period” involving the same individual. As God is merciful to all, in addition to those two active states of conscience, someone must than also, purposefully and with full intent, on absolute knowledge, deny the personage of The Holy Spirit. During the Millennium, humans will be taught that knowledge.

Until then, everyone of us can STILL claim “forgiveness” based on Adam’s Original Sin – “The Adamic Sin”, which is our “inherited” genetic make-up. *

FOOTNOTE: What is “Sinning?”: Not measuring up to God’s Law is sin – just like breaking a law of a society that you happen to live in – No more, and No less. For instance, if you do something in a society, but there is no law against it, you WILL NOT have “sinned”. Carrying this concept out somewhat further, if in a family unit the Father tells his child “Do not do that”, and the child does it anyway, that child will “have sinned” against Dad. As to sinning against God, the Bible clearly states: “Where there is NO Law, there is NO Sin” Period! Regarding The Unforgivable Sin, God makes it clear that “a person MUST have an accurate understanding of a matter, before he can be blamed for the violation”. Only The Holy Spirit can instill that understanding on basis of the shed blood of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus.

Anyone who tries to tell you different, is attempting to control you!

Keeping firmly in mind… that Jesus came to “lift from humanity the shame of ’sin-guilt burden’ “. Since then, and for the past 20 centuries, the Clergy has been busily engaged in piling THAT burden back on us, and they are still going strong at it today – they are UNDOING the value of what Jesus shed his blood for, which is our forgiveness through Saving Grace.

Sin. Sinning. What is sin. Burden of sin. Model prayer. Mind body effect. Benefit emotional forgiving. Made in God’s image. Sin against Holy Spirit. Unforgivable sin. The millennium. Forgiveness. Purpose of forgiveness. Absolution.

Hence, this brief summary on that subject should suffice.

SYNOPSIS: “Tithing”, or giving a tenth of a person’s financial increase for a good cause is not new in human history. In fact, from the historical record it appears that tithing in one form or another was a common practice since the beginning of time. To satisfy the common innate human need to share our “blessings”, we also “tithe” or give in one form or another as Abraham [Abram] did. So what than may be asked, is our big 12 page long ado against tithing?

The simple answer is: “Much Ado”, and a heck of a lot more than that. Prior to Moses there was no rule or law governing tithing. He is the one who put those rules into effect for a very specific purpose in the Pentateuch. And that is the crux of this issue, as “fleecing” the people was NOT one of those purposes.

That specific clarified purpose was “to support the Levi-tic Priesthood and sons of Aaron to serve them as helpers (missionaries). This was to fulfill the prophesy about Jesus who was to come through that lineage. Having “fulfilled that Law”, when Jesus died, any tithing Law established to support them, also ended at that time. Shortly thereafter, the “new requirement” was that people were to “give only as the spirit moved them”. Obviously, churches today DO NOT follow God’s new arrangement on giving. Not only are most churches demanding TEN percent of their membership’s gross income, many of them pass the plate up to FIVE times in one service. One time for missionaries, one time for this, and one time for that … So, what is wrong with what the churches are doing today?

Aside from pure greed motivation, and that the Tithing Law has not existed for 2000 years … A lot! There was to be only ONE collection for the Temple of 10 percent. That was to be collected from property owners only, and only out of  their “INCREASE” of business. For instance, if someone owned a flock of sheep which produced 10 lambs, only 10 percent or only one lamb was to be given to the temple. The same was true with vineyard owners, and the like. Out of that 10 percent collected by the Priests, 1 tenth was to be given to the Aaronic priests who were to use a portion of that to help the “widows and orphans”. As we are not against giving financially or in goods, we will never support wrongly applied and unscriptural tithing practices applied by today’s churches.

Just to be sure Church Leadership, Pastors, Ministers, Deacons, and you all, this writing is not to proverbially browbeat anyone or to dispense condemnation. That we will not do. It should be pointed out however that Jesus DID make a huge ado against your yesteryear’s counterparts; the Pharisees, Sadducees, Priests, Scribes, and in fact, the entire Jewish Sanhedrin,  about “NOT fleecing his sheep”. It is merely our opinion based on some random fleeting thoughts, that possibly, when Jesus arrives on Earth, (I would venture to guess – and I could be wrong of course), He will NOT be a Happy Camper about this.

This is nothing less than stealing “in the name of God”.

What are they thinking of when they fleece the contemporary proverbial sheep that Jesus spoke of…? What are they thinking of as to what Jesus meant when He said: “Take NOTHING for your [Ministry] journey – not even a second coat”? This I would think, includes NOT taking along a personal jet airplane.

Hummm… What do you think…?

An old adage and truism says: “Birds of a feather flock together”. This axiom holds true in respect to humans. Like birds, humans are gregarious creatures. Their tendency is to congregate. Often thwarted by socio-economic circumstance however, many need clear pastoral direction to help them accomplish this innate human desire for pure companionship with God’s people.

Those of you who have taken on the leadership of God’s Family, what are you waiting for? The congregation is hungry for the Truth – eagerly waiting for you to jump off the tracks of the routine and mundane: To get busy and act! Along with your commission, God gave you strong warning: “Those of you who have taken the lead, much is given to you, and hence, much will be demanded from you”. This is your job! … To make the church healthy and grow.

Keep in mind! It does not make one iota of difference to God… if you were “hired” by a bunch of spiritual lazy and fat-cat Christians in your church – for you to tickle their ears by only telling them what they want to hear – or, if you and your Board of Deacons have always been honorable and collectively have tried to do what is right. In the finality, whom do you think that Jesus referred to when he said: “… then there will be those who will say to me, Lord, I have always preached in your Name” – “To that one I will say: Depart from me into everlasting destruction”. Not one preacher today; will realize, nor cop to this.

So be bold, and be sure! It is not yet too late. Think! When Jesus sent out his disciples to evangelize the world, he expected them to be bold, and chose that characteristic to be in them. “Be sure of all things…and hold fast to what is fine”. So should you do! As a Christian Minister of God, you have to be bold just like those disciples. Jesus knew that he was sending them out among the wolves of this world. On this cue, all must be a bold Minister of the Gospel to the nations, and be “ready to give an answer for your hope and faith …”. Ministers especially, must be bold and do what is right… not what the congregation demands from you as to what you preach. If you compromise, than you are not preaching the Salvation Gospel of Jesus. You all are in the world, but not of this world – you preach a Gospel not of this world, but to this world.

In these regards, the “freedoms” of self-determination and individualism have culminated into separating people, the one from each other, and the drawing away from God. Further, the misdirected freedoms promised by totalitarians under guise of “Arbeit Maght Frei” *, is a “freedom” that leads to total oppression. That is not good for people as those are not the freedoms that God promised. Preachers are in total fear to tell their congregations that the freedoms that God wants them to have is, to choose right from wrong, and freedom from demonic oppression by virtue of a deep and abiding faith in the ransom sacrifice offered by Jesus: Not to determine for themselves whom they will or will not associate with in Christ. Fear not! You have the authority to tell your congregation, to NOT ignore the lowly ones in their midst – but to warmly treat them as Brothers and Sisters in Christ: To associate with them at church and elsewhere.

God’s true freedom can only be realized in actions, that have to be in accord with His Will, which is not prioritizing prominent ones in the congregation. It also is engendering and practicing close association with each and every one of the congregational Brothers and Sisters of like precious faith.

That is the unqualified message that you have to preach to the congregation of God. For as two ropes are stronger than one, there is more strength in a unified congregation than there is in this world. If you do not teach this message and warn your congregation, than you abandon “the weak in faith” and those “new in Christ”, to the machinations of the Devil. These “interested lowly ones” through your possibly unintentional neglect, will become discouraged.

Know! As a result of you not following this teaching, many interested in God and the blood of Jesus, have already given up out of discouragement. These ones in the church have already fallen away and left. By you refusing to act now, you will actually oppose God by causing harm and damage to these “… little ones of His flock”. Instead, you should resist the devil by teaching your congregation what is right and wrong. Just tell them! As a result, strife, dissent, and congregational splits will cease. So: Just do it! When you do, you will NOT have contributed to the “decline of God’s Church in these last days”.

You will NOT have failed your given Commission! You are a Minister of God.

Fellow-shipping God’s people. Global decline christian church. Salvation gospel. Reason attending church. Brothers precious faith. Always preached your name.

There is no way for me to know how many times I have been asked this question over the last few decades. Generally, I raise my eyebrows for two reasons. The first is that I am still surprised that so many people concern themselves with this issue, when there are many more important matters here on earth that should be addressed. Second is, that of those queries, the majority are by Christians. By asking this question, it may well be that they really do not understand the Bible at all. It clearly states that the “heavens are God’s Throne” and (in paraphrase), “the playground of the Angels”. Along with that, God sets a boundary by saying that the “Earth is His footstool, He gave to man as his home”.

Yes! I invariably tell them, there is God for one; uncountable angels of all kinds and stature, such as cherubim, seraphim’s, arch angels, seraphs, and so forth – you recall that Lucifer was the covering cherub over God’s throne in the heavens. Lucifer means “beautiful light (in paraphrase)”. He is described as being of lights and sounds, and beautiful to behold. The retort I generally get back is… “No! Are there people on other planets?”. As to that question, no one knows as the Bible is meticulously silent on that subject – and for good reason. Scripture condemns taking an unhealthy interest into the affairs of others. When we are overly concerned about life in outer space, are we prying into God’s personal affairs?

Daniel tells us that an Angel of God brought him a scroll that he really wanted to read. The angel told him not to read it, but to seal the scroll for a future time when “knowledge would become abundant throughout the earth”. This indicates to me, that perhaps the reason God is silent on this matter is that humans just are not ready yet to get to know these things. Are we? Just look at the present day so-called space race. All we have accomplished is to litter our solar system with tens of thousands of pieces of debris, just like we have raped and littered our planet. It would seem to me that we need to put our own “house” in order first, before delving into matters that God has not told us about – if at all!

There is no question in my mind however, that God is a Creator of total diversity in all the things that He has made. Just look at the variety of plant-life, animals, and material things. For this reason, I would venture to surmise that He did not create an entire universe just for us to stare at and wonder – but to enjoy. Just like a human father who takes much pleasure in watching his children enjoying the things that he has given to them. It is possible than, that the universe is filled with a great variety of intelligent life similar to, or even like us. Perhaps on many planets.

The only difference is, that any life there, in the “heavens”, would all be in full accord with God’s Will – in other words perfect. It is only here on earth that God’s glory and sovereignty has been challenged, and it is here on earth, where God’s name will be vindicated as to His right to rule all that exists… everywhere. That issue will be settled soon, and for all eternity, at the Battle at Armageddon.

That will forever answer the question raised by Lucifer, as to “who is right…”, and who will be gone!!!

The “Holy Writ” makes no bones about the simple fact that neither Jesus nor any of his disciples, had anything to do with governing or political affairs in any way at all. It is clear that Jesus did not have any interest nor a desire to be involved in the human political machinery. Meticulously following that lead, there is no record at all which indicates that any of the Disciples, were involved in worldly politics in any way shape or form either.

The closest that any Disciple got to politics, was to make a comment or two. The Apostle Paul (Saul of Tarsus) declared that: “People who followed Jesus, should not have any involvement in this world’s affairs; other than by virtue of the fact that they live in this world. For that inevitable reason, they would have some form of involvement with politics” (paraphrased). Paul gleaned that teaching from Jesus who, when the Jewish Clergy attempted to entrap him, he showed them a Roman coin. Then Jesus said: “Give God what belongs to God, and give to Caesar all that what is due to him”. By stating that principle of distinction, Jesus made clear separation between Religion and obligations to the Government.

To answer some questions that we have been asked many times over these past years, and recently: “Should we pay taxes when that money is used to fight in a war”, and “Should Christians refuse to serve in the Armed Forces as it is against God’s Law ‘to kill’?” Keep in mind that “governments and authority exists in their relative positions as placed there or allowed to stand by God”. We Christians owe our obedience, except when a demand is against God’s Will. Governments use taxes for many services that are for our benefit – not just for war. As to that, it is the government’s responsibility as to how that money is spent. As to Military Service, I know many who have served honorably, as did my father and brothers. “Yours truly” too has served honorably to protect my family, and my home.

On the subject of my home, we often attend local Town-Hall meetings to discuss issues that concern our immediate neighborhood. Speaking out in such a setting for the benefit of our neighbors and ourselves, is not getting involved in “core” politics which as Christians, we do not get involved in.

All my life I have not liked opening a writing with: “Satisfy yourself. Search your heart and your common sense”, as it sounds like a cliche’. Being as it is and to make sure, re-search the Historical Records. To the vast majority of “Faithful Christians”, THIS will come like a proverbial “Bucket of Ice-Cold Water”.

As to “shocking surprises”, the old adage of NOT “… throwing out the baby, with the bath-water”, would certainly apply. In other words, if you find the following statements to be true, DO NOT reject ALL your faith based on that.

OK… These are NOT ALL the so-called “Errors”. There are more:

RANDOMIZED: Pagans assembled the 66 writings which comprise the Christian Bible. They did this by “popular vote”. There were other scrolls that arbitrarily were “rejected and burned-up” by the Pagan Controlled Nicaea Council, about 312 – 324 years after the death of Jesus. The Apostle Peter who knew, walked, and talked with Jesus, warned that this would happen. The reference of “Holy” was ascribed and later added to the Bible as was the concept of “The Trinity” – which is not scriptural at all. The “Apostolic Creed” was also a later addition by them. “Purgatory” is a fictionalized depiction of a fable from before Jesus *. The “Rapture” is not mentioned in the Bible at all – but a later invention. The Council of Nicaea added Chapter and Verse. Christmas (X-Mas) is NOT the Birth-date of Jesus. Easter (Pa-ash) is a “Pagan” Celtic Fertility Rite – “Earth Goddess” renewal. “God’s Name is the Jewish four consonant Tetra-grammaton YHWH, or Yahweh (meaning “I AM”). King James of England REMOVED THAT NAME in his version of the Bible. He replaced YHWH with “Lord”. Superstition was that – “any misspelling of God’s name brought bad luck”. The Lord’s Prayer has many additions (things that Jesus NEVER said). The Greek name for “the Grave”, is Hades – NOT HELL. The Jewish name for “the Grave”, is Sheol – NOT HELL. The concepts of “HELL” and “HELL-FIRE” are just not true. They are MYTHS that work just fine in my favorite Hercules movies. This is a “Valley Garbage Dump” that Jesus referenced when discussing “continual fire”.

* MARY-O-LOGY: “Is NOT a Christian Doctrine”. Understand: God our Heavenly Father, does NOT have a “Mother”. However, just about all Bible translations after “the King James version”, followed suit in deleting God’s Name from the Bible – resulting in the “myopic” reasoning of: “God = Lord, and Jesus = Lord”, i.e. “Hence, the false belief that THEY BOTH are the same Personage”.

Jesus saying: “The Father and I are One”, means “They are the same in purpose and intention”. Much like “A married couple is ONE” = The same in union.

No matter how peripheral… If it is NOT TRUE, it is NOT TRUE!

Did you know that Gobbledygook has spiritual connotations? How, may be asked by someone? Further, did you know that gobbledygook has NO place in God’s universal scheme of things as He is “a God of order”.

So… What is Gobbledygook? NOT a new Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream flavor!

Taking the plunge so to speak; getting on with it; breaking the ice; and biting the proverbial spiritual bullet – Jesus had much to say about gobbledygook. He did not like it and opposed it, especially from priests and religious zealots.

At this juncture we arrive at the concept of being humble. This will be discussed later in some detail. Enough to say that being humble is not walking around with a long face, putting sackcloth on your head, and dousing oneself liberally with last summer’s campfire ashes. That is what the Pharisees all practiced as they performed their “gobbledygook rituals” which Jesus condemned. What Jesus did NOT oppose, was someone lighting his or her candle for everyone to see.

What is a “gobbledygook ritual”? Pick up a number of Newsletters from some of your local churches. Any one of them is loaded with “gobbledygook”. Simply put, it is a form of language that is not normal colloquial English for the layperson to understand. That “language is deliberately designed to make the clergy appear “educated”. What it in actuality does is, confuse the congregation – the people. By chance, I reviewed a six page church newsletter. At the end of the first page, I took a double look. At the end of the second page, I had to shake my head, and by the middle of the third page, the language and direction already had changed several times where I truly did not know where it was going… what the point was.

For example…Nope! (everyone understands nope), I am not gonna re-state the wording in a Newsletter and Men’s Network Vision Statement crammed full with religious gobbledygook, in front of me, that some clergy use to impress the lay person. It has no spiritual meaning or value. Teaching about God or talking about church matters, should be simple, concise, and with clear explanations, if for no other reason, than out of respect. Words should be in form and format so that educated adults can enjoy, and young children can understand. Highfaluting words detracts from the message. Allow God’s spirit to direct and guide, the tenor of the message will come by itself: “Do not worry about what you will say. The spirit will put on your tongue, and recall to mind the things you have to say.”

For real, I can solemnly worship like any Baptist; shout God’s praises aloud any time as do some Appalachian sects, recite every Hallelujah or Alleluias like any Presbyterian, discuss the “Angel Moroni” in detail with those who adhere to that teaching; at will, for hours, pray in tongues as any good Pentecostal, beat myself over my “humble” head with an “Almighty Father Jehovah who dwells in Heaven, may we approach your throne of undeserved kindness to give thanks for your undeserved love and this day of life, and all unwarranted blessings you have bestowed upon us”, like any JW, ignoring that Salvation comes via Grace; say my “Hail Mary’s as devout Catholics do; chant like some non-Christian faiths, and on. But all of this is just gobbledygook. What is important for life is…

To know that one of the most outstanding features of the Bible is its tone and tenor, which is written in a language-level so a 12-year-old child can easily understand. Curiously that was the age of major significance to the Jews, and was the age of Jesus when he entered the temple to study the scrolls. Here Jesus encountered priests who, while standing in front of the temple “where all could see them”, prayed aloud with sad faces while beating themselves on the chest and reciting gobbledygook or gobbledegook. Jesus called them hypocrites.

Because we are not a lame we should…

Recall that: “Knowledge is the prime thing, but above that gain an understanding of that knowledge you have acquired, upon which realization, ask God humbly to give you the wisdom to act wisely upon that understanding.”

Be assured this is not for reason to ridicule, but a: “I told you so”…!

On this issue, there is only one non-debatable thing to say by us, that all clergy would do well to preach and teach from their pulpits.

Not far from the truth is that the Universe is like “a Gated Community”, and in outer space, the Earth is comparable to “a slummy Ghetto”. The reason for that is that humans with wanton abandon, have made it that way. One group of society blames the other as the Pot continues to call the Kettle black. Fact is, all are to blame. One group pollutes, the other side gladly consumes the product.

Between the factions, bandied about is an over-used word: “Green”, which may or may not make any significant impression on the “massed throngs of humanity”. Another word is “sustainable”. In context, what does that word really mean? As of this writing, “green” has become just a cliche’ where polluting companies desiring a “tax-write-off”, claim to be “going green”. It would be more truthful and easier to say, that this earth, if NOT RAPED by greedy people, and properly cared for by all, will sustain itself through an inherent built-in regeneration process cycle. The Creator of this planet designed it so that the Earth will stay “green” without need of any human  intervention – for all time “indefinite”.          

That is not saying, there is no urgent need for us to be aware and change our ways. There cannot be any “business as usual” any longer!

Getting down to the Nitty and the Gritty of the business of “Taking care of Earth”, here is what God himself has to say:

Without any fanfare, or explanation, God stated that “He will destroy those who are destroying the Earth”. Bearing in mind: God has laid claim on Earth as his footstool, which people wantonly pollute without thought.

Those who own or manage rental units, would you not evict and toss out on their ears a tenant who willfully damages your property leased out to him or her? Of course you would. But not only that, would you not also demand to be paid for any and all damage that a tenant may have done? Of course you will. God is no different. He is the Land-Lord, and payback time is coming.

Besides, being grossly behind in the “rent payment of respect” which is way over due to God, humans have abused their stewardship of the Earth which was the condition and reciprocal agreement that God made with Adam.

Christians… Wake up! The planet Earth belongs to God who leased it out to you. Before you put that hole in the wall, or decide to toss your trash over the fence, focus instead on properly disposing it, reconsider it… The Land-Lord already has Eviction Notices in the ready for issuance. No kidding!

If you are involved in a business that pollutes the environment, or engage in any activities which causes harm to this world – Before you “gleefully” spend that next dollar you “made” in those kinds of activities, turn that dollar over two, three, or even more times – and reflect on what you are doing. Study it! Re-consider you continuing to contribute, to “damaging Earth”.

God really does not like you damaging His planet – My earthly home.

God will destroy those who destroy the Earth. Sustainable going green. Taking care of Earth. Business pollute environment. Greedy people damaging Earth.
