Bit O’ Knowledge: The “Eye of the Needle” in Jesus’ day referred to “a small door” in the City’s Gate … just big enough to allow passage of one person. That gate was locked at sundown. If by chance a late traveler arrived at the gate after it was locked, it did not have to be opened, to endanger the City. The traveler instead, would enter the City through the “Eye of the Needle”.
BE GOOD TO ANIMALS: “When Dogs Bark…”
In all neighborhoods, everywhere, you can hear dogs barking (incessantly some times), at all hours of the day or night: All Seasons of the year. Without fail and invariably, you will hear some-one scream at one time or another, “SHUT THAT DOG UP”, or some other VIOLENT EXCLAMATORY or DEROGATORY, which may well be unfit to print here in this writing. Yelling at the dog(s) like that or cursing them, is like “Preaching at the choir…” – as it is NOT the dogs fault! The blame rests squarely on the owner for failing to heed the dogs need! – For NOT being responsible “owners” – THEY ARE CRUELLY TORMENTING THEIR DOG!
Keeping in mind that a DOGS MENTALITY NEVER EXCEEDS THAT OF A THREE (3) YEAR OLD HUMAN CHILD, when a human child cries, the parents pay attention. The parents know that by crying, their baby is letting its needs be known. The same thing is true for a dog. The only way that dogs have to let people know that it needs food, water, it is hurt or needs help in some way – like “I am freezing outside”, is TO BARK. When a human child is not responded to, when crying out of its’ need, the baby will keep on crying.
So it is with any dog. It will keep on crying (BARKING) until its’ needs are met.
Foolish and lazy people instead, get mad and yell at the dogs, or have their “BARKERS SURGICALLY REMOVED”, so the dog cannot communicate any longer, having lost their only way to do so. Another way barking is suppressed is with a new invention, ” A bark suppressing device “, which is just as cruel to use. It is like hitting the dog over its head with a CLUB every time it asks for something it really needs, like food or water. THIS IS PURE TORMENT FOR THE DOG!
Please consider all this BEFORE you buy a Bark Suppressor, or Surgically have its barker removed. Think about this next time you hear a dog bark…!

Believe it or not, many people gossip “because it is fun!” It’s something to do!

The nature of unfounded malicious allegations…
Consider: When you walk through your life – Tread ever so careful. Tender feelings are everywhere – They could be your own feelings.
PROV 18:13 “If you act before knowing all of the facts, than you are a fool”.
To amplify this scripture for its’ significance, one translation says it this way: “Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish”. Another states: “He who gives an answer before he hears, it is folly and a shame to him”. Another rendition is: “He that answereth before he heareth sheweth himself to be a fool, he is worthy of confusion”. The next explains: “Whoever gives an answer before he hears, it is folly and shame to him”. And yet still, one other opinion of the estimated 237 translations is: “When anyone is replying to a matter before he hears [it], that is foolishness on his part and a humiliation”.
For Serious Consideration:
Has a “trusted friend” or a person you know ever told you a nasty story about someone else…? What was your reaction? Did you INTENTLY listen to the UNFOUNDED story that you DO NOT KNOW anything about, or did you say to yourself: “Does the story have the ring of truth to it” – “Because I was not there, am I being given all of the facts..”, “Why is this person telling me this information that I did not ask for?” Or perhaps, did you think that very possibly and just maybe… “What I am being told COULD BE A LIE TOLD TO ME for some vicious alternative reason ‘by my friend…?’ ” – “Maybe this is just plain GOSSIP…!”
Did you stop – think – and ask yourself: “Should I not ask the person being gossiped about if what I am being told about him or her is really true and not taken out of context?”
So who am I…? I am Mean Spirited Gossssssip…
” I have absolutely no respect for justice. I indiscriminately maim without killing. I gladly break hearts and delight in ruining lives. Besides all of this… I am very cunning and malicious and gather much strength with age, as fools listen to me. The more I am quoted the more I am believed. I am nobody’s friend!
I flourish at every level of society. My victims are totally helpless; they cannot protect themselves against me because I have no name and no face. To track me down is impossible! The harder a person tries, the more elusive I become. Once I tarnish someone’s reputation, it is never the same.
As fools listen and repeat me, it becomes easy for me to topple governments, destroy successful careers, and totally devastate loving marriages. My forte’ is to tear down lifelong friendships. After this, I take pleasure in ruining the life of the fool who perpetuated me in the first place, because I’m nobody’s friend.
Because of foolish rumormongers, I have caused innocent people many sleepless nights, indigestion, and experience unjust heartaches and headaches. I generate painful grief by spawning unfounded suspicion. I come in many forms as I make the headlines and cause innocent people to cry in their pillows.”
Listen carefully: “Even my Name Hisssssssssses…”
